The nature center offers a variety of opportunities for learning and participation:

- Bird Viewing area for bird watching

- Large collection of Native American Artifacts
- Live examples of insects and reptiles
- Nature trails - examples of woodland and grassland trails and trail to Schermerhorn Cave
